Digital Advertising Specialist

The Murray Road Agency seeks a skilled individual with experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns from conception to execution and including analysis. Candidates should be proficient across multiple platforms, on search engines, social media, owned digital platforms and other digital media platforms. They should also be comfortable managing ad serving technology, excel, and data/resource management programs. The Digital Advertising Specialist should also be able to optimize strategies and ensure that the quality and responsiveness of service meets or exceeds expectations. This position will be located in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota area or Charleston, South Carolina in person.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing digital marketing strategies and marketing plans to support and achieve business objectives

  • Composing, launching, and optimizing social advertising campaigns using Meta, Google Ads, and other platforms/tools

  • Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance, while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests

  • Managing digital marketing calendar

  • Preparing paid advertising performance reports

  • Keeping track of ad spend and conversions

  • Developing and analyzing objective-based and data-driven digital ad campaigns

  • Perform creative intake, including retrieving, approving or rejecting creative assets based on product specifications

  • High degree of ownership around scheduling advertising products, and ensuring accurate pacing and delivery, using internal tools and systems, as well as with and through vendors and other 3rd party relationships

  • Implementing email marketing campaigns

  • May be asked to help conduct research to brainstorm ideas for new ad placements or changes that could improve the performance of ad campaigns

  • Play a role in developing and implementing best practices and processes to improve operational efficiencies

  • Pull data from multiple systems and sources for analysis and reporting that drives decisions, operations, and translates into valuable support ideas and improvements

  • Further developing Affiliate Marketing advertising campaigns and overall value proposition 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, advertising or related field

  • 2-3 years of experience

  • Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

  • Working knowledge of cloud sharing, Google Docs and Drobox

  • Knowledge of project and task management tools such as Basecamp and Monday

  • Strong working knowledge of Social Media Advertising and Google Ads

  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent follow-through

  • Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines

  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently

  • Excellent time management, able to handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines and pressure and prioritize and communicate effectively

  • Good organization skills

  • Related job and internship experience

  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines

  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases

  • Experience with the outdoor industry, hunting, and firearms a plus
