Premier Body Armor to Host Appearance of Real-Life Narcos Agents at SHOT Show 2023

GASTONIA, N.C. – January 11, 2023 – Premier Body Armor is excited to host the real-life Narcos agents, Javier Peña and Steve Murphy, at their booth for the 2023 SHOT Show in Las Vegas. Both retired DEA agents, Peña and Murphy were instrumental in bringing down notorious drug lord Pablo Escobar and were depicted in the hit Netflix series Narcos. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and interact with the agents, as well as learn about their experiences in the field and their work to combat the global drug trade. In addition, copies of Peña & Murphy’s tell-all book, Manhunters: How We Took Down Pablo Escobar, will be available for signing.

GASTONIA, N.C. – November 21, 2022 – Premier Body Armor is proud to announce the next addition in their concealable product line, the Discreet Plate Carrier. Combined with two of PBA’s ultra-light Stratis plates, the DPC provides rifle-rated protection in a uniquely discreet way.

“Designing a plate carrier that is discreet enough to conceal rifle rated plates, yet robust enough to last, is no easy feat”, said Alex Stewart, President of Premier Body Armor. “But, after several months of R&D, I think we have a carrier that makes the cut and comes packed with capability. Six AR mag/medical gear/comms pouches line the elastic cummerbunds and full-field loop velcro covers the front and rear plate pockets. The SAPI plate shape accommodates all 10x12 plates including SAPI, Shooter, and Swimmer’s cuts.
