SK Customs® Releases The MANA in Stainless, Part Two of a Two Part Limited-Edition Production Designer Series

HAYMARKET, VA – April 14, 2022 – SK Customs® is proud to announce the second iteration of the MANA in a stainless design. This limited-edition firearm is part of a series of Polynesian warrior inspired handguns.

The MANA, like its predecessors, is presented on a full-size Colt Classic 1911 Series 70 .38 Super, now in a polished stainless-steel frame, slide and accents. The high polished silver national matched barrel has 24 karat gold plated and high polished selective hardware with etched motifs inspired by Polynesian Ethos. Complemented by a diamond-studded factory front staked sight, the MANA comes with a newly debuted super bright white ivory polymer engraved grip.

Each MANA comes accompanied with a custom knife from the French manufacturer Deejo(r). The knife is high polished in stainless steel, weighs 37g, is etched with the Polynesian motifs to match the art designed on the MANA and comes with a composite turtle shell handle engraved “SK Customs – The MANA.”

MANA is defined as the spiritual life’s forces of energy or healing power that permeates the universe. In the Polynesian culture, anyone can have MANA as it’s a cultivation or possession of energy and power. The quality of MANA is not limited to individuals, people, governments, and places. Inanimate objects may also possess MANA.

“We honored the Polynesian worldview of MANA, by launching the second part of this Warrior Life designer collection,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Customs. “To have MANA implies influence, authority and efficacy and an ability to perform in a given situation. A Colt 1911 embodies this spirit, even as an inanimate object.”

The MANA comes with a limited-edition series number from 001 of 200 etched in 24 karat gold behind the right-side serrations. The MANA in stainless is the third series in the Polynesian Warrior Inspired Limited-Edition Designer Series with the HAKA in stainless to follow.

SK Customs Auctions “The Emperor” #001 Exclusively on Gun Broker

HAYMARKET, VA (April 5, 2022) SK Customs® is proud to release #001 of “The Emperor,” a Bicentennial Anniversary production firearm and the first creation in the company’s all-new Mexican War of Independence Series is now for auction on GunBroker.com.

“The Emperor” is a limited edition production run of only 200 Full Size Government Model Colt 1911 chambered in 38 Super. Each pistol includes a special engraved edition number and is accompanied with a replica reproduction of Mexico’s Declaration of Independence.

This historically significant war was fought for 11 years and 11 days. It ended more than 200 years ago on September 27th, 1821, when Agustín De Iturbide, a Commanding General and Conservative Politian, led Ejército Trigarante or Ejército de las Tres Garantías (Translation: The Army of the Three Guarantees) in vanquishing the Spanish from ruling over the Mexican native lands. On September 28th, 1821, Iturbide was first to sign Mexico’s Declaration of Independence. That same year he was proclaimed the First President of the Regency, and shortly after he was declared the First Emperor of Mexico.

“We honored Mexico’s independence by launching this very exclusive limited edition in 2021, and now we are commemorating their freedom once again, by partnering with GunBroker.com to auction the most desirable #001 of this series,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Customs®.

The last day to bid on this commemorative firearm is Sunday, April 10, 2022.

Later this year SK Customs® has plans to release “Premier Presidente” with Guadalupe Victoria, Mexico’s first president during the era of the Mexican War of Independence, and their second production in their Mexican War of Independence Series.

SK Customs Announces The Lost States of America Engravers Series with The Lost State of Jacinto – Sam Houston Introduction

HAYMARKET, VA – February 19, 2022 – SK Customs® restores history by launching “The Lost States of America Engravers Series” production line with “The Lost State of Jacinto - Sam Houston” Colt 1911 pistols engraved in 24KT gold.

An important battle of the Texas Revolution, the Battle of San Jacinto took place in 1836 in present-day Harris County, Texas. General Sam Houston led the Texian Army against General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna's Mexican Army in a critical victory. The battle lasted only eighteen minutes and changed the world.

In the end, the United States would gain not only Texas, but also New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, California, Utah and parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, and Wyoming. As a result of the Battle of San Jacinto, nearly a third of what is now the United States of America changed ownership. It is one of the most decisive and consequential battles in the history of the United States and indeed the Western world.

“We commemorate General Sam Houston and the Texian Army for avenging the Alamo and Goliad by launching this very exclusive limited edition of only 200 full size government model Colt 1911 pistols chambered in .45ACP,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Customs. “Each pistol includes a special engraved edition number and will be accompanied with a beautiful antique silver commemorative challenge coin.”

Details on each side of the gun include a beautiful custom scroll pattern which flows to the top of the slide. On the left side of the gun, SK Customs has engraved the iconic quote by General Sam Houston, “Texas has yet to learn submission to any oppression, come from what source it may.”

On the right side is the iconic quote used when the Texian Army charged into battle shouting, “Remember the Alamo, Remember Goliad!”

The top of the slide provides a portrait of General Sam Houston in front of the Monument of San Jacinto, while the rear of the slide is engraved with “The State of Texas” seal and “The Lost State of Jacinto.”

“The grips are made of Genuine Mesquite Burl native to Texas and to enrich the history of this production, both the grips and challenge coins were manufactured and sourced directly from our partners in the Lone Star State making this production even more special,” said Khiabani.
