Safariland Releases Assault II and III Lightweight Shields

The Assault LW shields feature a triangular viewport that allows for increased vertical visibility for the operator. This innovative design ensures optimal situational awareness, enabling law enforcement professionals to respond to critical situations effectively.

M80 FMJ (NATO) as wel as being NIJ 0108.01 compliant and capable of stopping impacts of the 5.56 x 45mm M193 and 7.62 x 39mm MSC special threat rounds. This lightweight shield ensures officers can maintain agility and mobility without compromising safety.

The Assault III LW, weighing only 20.4 lbs., offers exceptional ballistic coverage while remaining lightweight. Capable of stopping the 7.62 x 51mm, 147 gr. M80 FMJ (NATO), this shield provides reliable protection against high-powered rifle rounds. Additionally, it is NIJ 0108.01 compliant and capable of stopping impacts of the 5.56 x 45mm M193 and 7.62 x 39mm MSC special threat rounds.
