Industry First: TrueTimber® AirPack Inflatable Ground Blind

INMAN, S.C. – May 21, 2020 – The new TrueTimber AirPack inflatable ground blind has been stirring up a lot of attention following its launch during ATA and SHOT Show earlier this year. The patent pending design fits into a small backpack, weighs between 15 and 22 pounds depending on the model and can be fully inflated and deployed in less than two minutes. The TrueTimber AirPack series will be offered in two sizes and will be available mid-2020.

Hunters have come accustomed to the outdated and robust design seen with ground blinds across the industry and have accepted this as the only option. Fiber poles or metal rods that can snap and rust, bulky configurations that are difficult to transport and an overall lack of mobility have tied the hands of hunters for years and years.

The TrueTimber AirPack blind is constructed with heavy-duty inflatable beams that offer flexibility and an ultra-lightweight design, while maintaining rugged durability. In the event of falling debris, snow buildup or harsh weather, the inflated beams offer the flexibility to bend rather than break. The beams, while flexible, are still firm enough to give the blind the support of a solid frame. This innovative design also allows the blind to easily roll up into the included standard size backpack when deflated for convenient carrying. The small, high volume pump allows the blind to be setup, taken down and moved easily by one person.

“We have said it before and we will say it again, this is not the ground blind your dad used,” said TrueTimber CEO Rusty Sellars. “As this project came together, it was becoming more and more apparent just how much potential this blind had. The lightweight design and unique flexibility that comes with air technology makes this the most versatile ground blind on the market. We can’t wait to see this help hunters go places they never thought a ground blind could go.”
