TrueTimber® Announces Sponsorship for South Carolina Youth Shooting Foundation for 2020-2021 Season

INMAN, S.C. – December 3, 2020 – TrueTimber has announced a silver level sponsorship for the South Carolina Youth Shooting Foundation (SCYSF) for the 2020-2021 Sporting Clay Tournament Series. The SCYSF season will consist of five events, beginning December 5 and ending April 24, 2021 with the State Championship at Back Woods Quail Club in Georgetown South Carolina.

The SCYSF was started by a group of clay shooting enthusiasts who were interested in creating an organization to enable youth shooters a better opportunity to enjoy the art of clay shooting. With over 850 youth members, the SCYSF has been able to influence many young shooters and instill countless valuable life skills. The SCYSF awarded over $69,000 in prizes and scholarships last year following the State Championship.

“We are really excited to announce this sponsorship and show our support for the SCYSF,” said TrueTimber CEO Rusty Sellars. “This is a great opportunity for us to give back to our home state and support the importance of getting youth involved in shooting sports. The SCYSF has the ability to not only instruct young shooters, but teach them valuable life lessons and support them into their young adult lives which is a really powerful model that we love to support.”

The mission of the South Carolina Youth Shooting Foundation is to support all youth shotgun sport shooting disciplines within the state of South Carolina. The focus is to provide a safe environment in which youth may participate in the sport or sporting clays. In addition, the SCYSF has a desire to instill life skills such as commitment, focus, respect, sportsmanship, teamwork and a positive work ethic so that our youth will become productive, contributing members of society.

NEW TrueTimber® Longtail Parka and Pant Perfect for Waterfowlers from Coast to Coast

INMAN, S.C. – November 24, 2020 – The NEW TrueTimber Longtail clothing is an excellent addition to blinds, boats and fields for waterfowl hunters this season. Completely water and windproof, this midweight set can handle moderate temperatures or easily be layered for those icy later season hunts. The Longtail Parka and Pant are available in the new TrueTimber Prairie camo.

Designed for the most passionate and driven hunters, the Longtail Parka and Pant are built to combat harshly wet, cold and windy conditions that are almost always associated with the ‘duckiest’ days. The completely weatherproof outer shell keeps hunters dry and warm in harsh conditions while the breathable construction makes this set ready for mid-season hunts as well.

“We had a lot of confidence in this product from the drawing board to production and now that we are seeing it in action, we couldn’t be happier,” said TrueTimber CEO Rusty Sellars. “Duck hunters will be the first to tell you that usually the worst conditions are the best for shooting ducks. This combo is designed from the ground up to keep you dry, warm and out of the weather no matter how bad things get. Our Prairie pattern has had off the charts success in the wetlands and marshes, so pairing that camo with this set really takes it to the next level.”

TrueTimber Longtail Parka and Pant

The TrueTimber Longtail Waterfowl Parka and Pant are constructed with a 100% polyester waterproof and breathable Weather-Lock shell fabric. An independent interior standup collar and adjustable draw cords on hood, including rear crown adjustment on the parka keeps water and wind out. Adjustable hook and loop sleeve cuff closures with water resistant spandex internal cuff and waterproof zippers on all exterior pockets keeps hunters and their belongings dry in even the wettest conditions. The Longtail pant features zippered leg entry for easy on and off. The TrueTimber Longtail Parka and Pant is available in NEW TrueTimber Prairie camo.
