X5L-RS Gen 3

Viridian’sX5L-RS Gen 3 is the latest version of the original X5L green laser sight and taclight, with a heavy-duty, waterproof two-button pressure switch for use on rifles and shotguns. Designed to fit most full-sized railed long guns, the X5L-RS comes equipped with a powerful 5mW green laser (510-520nm) for maximum visibility day or night and a brilliant 500 lumen CREE LED taclight. Secure universal mounting, six modes of operation and a removable, rechargeable battery with on-board charging and battery indicator lights round out these high-performance features.

X Series Gen 3 with Camera

The X Series Gen 3 with Camera comes standard with a 500 lumen LED light, green laser (on X5L Cam), multiple operation modes and Viridian's proprietary INSTANT-ON® technology. Combined with a 1080p full-HD digital camera and microphone, this unique solution provides convenient playback for training, range time or competitions and gives legally armed citizens an added level of reassurance when carrying or in a home defense situation. Additional uses include recording footage during action/water sports, bow hunting or fishing, turkey hunting or any other close-range hunting.

V Series Long-Range Illuminators

Viridian’s V Series Long-Range Illuminators deploy high-intensity, next-gen LED technology to throw a brilliant, tactical-grade light beam far downrange. Undetectable green, red or infrared beams paint distant targets in total darkness, without spooking quarry, straining eyes or blowing a paycheck on high-price gear. A vivid white beam helps locate a trail or blind an opponent instantly. Customers can choose between two models—the V210 Long-Range Illuminator or V310 Long-Range Illuminator.

The NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits is a world-class consumer show featuring acres of exhibits, premier events, educational seminars, workshops and activities. It will take place at the Indianapolis Convention Center, April 26-28.

Viridian® Showcasing LE Camera Technology at Texas Police Chiefs Association Annual Conference

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – April 16, 2019 –Viridian Weapon Technologies is showcasing the FACT Duty™ Weapon-Mounted Camera (WMC™) at the 61st Annual Conference of the Texas Police Chiefs Association (TPCA). The convention is taking place at the Galveston Island Convention Center in Galveston, Texas, April 16-17, 2019. Attendees will have an opportunity to discuss and sign up for a no-cost FACT Duty WMC Testing & Evaluation program at booth #320 and can take advantage of an exclusive show special during the conference.

“A number of police departments in the state of Texas are in various stages of testing and implementing the FACT Duty WMC, and the TPCA conference is the perfect platform to discuss the technology with other agencies,” said Viridian President and CEO Brian Hedeen. “Our WMC provides a truly unobstructed perspective that did not exist before, and it’s our hope that the technology helps officers in Texas and all across the country feel better equipped for situations they may face while on duty.”

The highly advanced FACT Duty WMC employs a 1080p full-HD digital camera with a microphone and 500 lumen tactical light. This unique weapon-mounted camera provides a clear view of critical use-of-force events from the end of the firearm, addressing limitations officers can face with body cameras. Viridian’s proprietary INSTANT-ON® technology automatically activates the camera and microphone whenever the officer draws the firearm from its holster. Not only does this eliminate risk of failure to manually turn on the camera during a critical event, but it also keeps the officer from fumbling with cumbersome equipment. Body and dash cameras were not designed to capture officer-involved shootings. However, Viridian WMCs were designed specifically for this purpose.

At this year’s TPCA conference, booth visitors who enroll in the free Testing &

Evaluation program will be eligible to receive a free Tactical Backpack while supplies last. This show special is an exclusive token of appreciation for qualified T&E sign-ups during the TPCA conference.
