onX Renews National Deer Association Corporate Sponsorship through 2024

ATHENS, GA (February 16, 2021) – The National Deer Association (NDA) has announced onX will extend its sponsorship for another three years. Support from onX plays a critical role in enabling NDA’s deer conservation efforts and broader mission goals. The onX Hunt app is the leader in mobile mapping technology for hunters, landowners and outdoor enthusiasts and the perfect fit for NDA members.

NDA and onX will continue to partner on the ‘NDA CWD Distribution’ map, a free layer that onX Hunt users can activate to show them counties where chronic wasting disease (CWD) has been found. NDA updates the layer immediately whenever CWD is discovered in new counties.

“We are grateful for our partnership with onX and excited to be working with them on issues that matter to deer and hunters,” said Nick Pinizzotto, President & CEO of NDA. “In addition to providing unparalleled products, onX has proven to be fully committed to CWD education, habitat improvement, land access and protecting opportunities for hunters and general outdoor enthusiasts alike.”

Founded in 2009, onX’s maps encompass 985 million acres of public land and more than 121 million private properties. Hunters and outdoorsmen are able to use their mobile phones as a GPS, tracking their movements, delving through different topographic maps with unique applications for hunting, fishing, hiking, off-roading and more. Those maps are accessible via a membership or can be used on a traditional GPS device with a purchased, pre-loaded chip.

"We have worked with QDMA for the last three years because of all of the great work they have done ensuring the future of whitetail deer,” said Zach Sandau, onX Hunt Marketing Manager. “We are excited for two of the most influential deer organizations joining forces in 2020 and all of the opportunities working with NDA on wild deer management and creating better deer hunting for future generations.”
