Savage Arms® AccuCan™ Suppressors Seeing Major Success with Key Distributors

WESTFIELD, Massachusetts – June 20, 2024 Savage Arms continues to see growth and scale with the AccuCan line of suppressors that debuted at the close of 2023. The brand announces today that multi-caliber options are available through distributors Sport South, RSR, Lipseys, Chattanooga Shooters Supply, Davidson’s and Bill Hicks. This widespread availability helps these lightweight, field-serviceable suppressors reach a wide new customer base when ATF approval speed is at an all-time high.

The AccuCan line has seen great traction and adoption by hunters and shooters alike. Individual models AC338, AC30 and AC22 create separation in a busy market. Savage developed these suppressors with difference-making features around usability in the field, durability and ruggedness. AccuCan Suppressors also greatly reduce other disturbances such as flash and recoil to further improve the shooting experience.

“Getting well-known distributors to buy in and carry our line has been a huge reason for the AccuCan line’s early success,” said Rob Gates, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Savage. “We were proud of the products we brought to market. We didn’t just develop a ‘me too’ suppressor line. But without the support of key customers, sales would be an uphill battle. Excellent availability combined with growing consumer demand for suppressors and reductions in ATF approval time has created a hot market for suppressors in general. The AccuCan line is quickly becoming a top choice for hunters and shooters and we are thrilled the Savage Arms brand is excelling in another category in the hunting, shooting and outdoor space.”

The AccuCan Difference

Each individual AccuCan offering is feature-rich and designed to specific criteria that allow them to go head-to-head with existing suppressors in their product category. But there are a few distinct qualities across the entire AccuCan line that represent the innovation driving demand right now.

Today’s hunters and shooters are mobile, so suppressors can’t be a burden in the weight category. AccuCan offerings from the AC338 down to the AC22 are some of the lightest suppressors available today. They’re also rugged and boast unmatched strength-to-weight ratios.

AccuCans feature a MonoKore design that increases accuracy for seasoned and novice shooters alike. This is achieved by the fact that these suppressors reduce flash and recoil—as well as sound. After all, modern suppressors should do more than reduce a little noise.

Suppressors are now used frequently and owners also need and want to be self-reliant. That’s why each AccuCan is field-serviceable with an easy-to-disassemble/reassemble three-piece design. So whether shooters are at home on the bench or in the field on a hunt, adjustments can be done swiftly without the need for specialized tools or equipment.
