ZEISS to Attend, Sponsor 2020 San Diego Birding Festival

Event Supports Education, Conservation and Sanctuary Programs

White Plains, NY – February 26, 2020

Calling all birders in Southern California! Please come join ZEISS, a proud sponsor of the San Diego Birding Festival, on February 26 through March 1 at the Marina Village Conference Center in San Diego, California.  There are activities for all levels of birders and great events for the whole family to enjoy. Pete Dunne, longtime author and birding expert, will conduct his keynote lecture, “The World Series of Birding — Stories behind the story, now it can be told.”

“The San Diego Birding Festival has something for everyone and is vital to the support of birding and bird populations,” said Richard Moncrief, Account Manager – Business Group Consumer Products for Carl ZEISS SBE, LLC. “ZEISS is known for delivering high-performance and high-quality binoculars and spotting scopes that operate above the rest. We love getting involved in events like this so we can play a direct part in supporting programs dedicated to the future of birding. It's also a great place to get our products into the hands of the people who can really benefit from them.”

The San Diego Birding Festival supports the education, conservation and sanctuary programs of the San Diego Audubon Society. The event celebrates the extensive populations of wild birds and habitats in San Diego County and the surrounding regions. The event will feature a packed schedule of workshops, speakers and birding opportunities. Birders of all ages are invited to gather, learn about and view a wide variety of coastal birds throughout the area.
