Shoot Like A Girl Joins Bass Pro Shops for Spring, Texas Grand Opening

ATHENS, Ala. – September 27, 2024 – Shoot Like A Girl®, the outdoor industry’s leading experiential marketing company, is thrilled to announce its participation in the upcoming Bass Pro Shops Grand Opening event in Spring, Texas, October 2-6, 2024. The new 125,000-square-foot Bass Pro Shops store will be the outdoor retailer's fourth location in the greater Houston area and 16th Bass Pro Shops Texas location.

Attendees will experience Shoot Like A Girl's state-of-the-art mobile FATS by InVeris range. This cutting-edge range offers guests the opportunity to experience the thrill of shooting under the guidance of certified female instructors. These knowledgeable instructors will not only provide expert instruction on firearms and archery but also share valuable insights on outdoor accessories and safety. The event aims to create a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere, promoting confidence within shooting sports and encouraging the community to participate in various outdoor activities.

The Shoot Like A Girl experience will be stationed in front of Bass Pro Shops, October 2-6, 2024:

  • Wednesday, October 2 from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.

  • Thursday, October 3 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Friday, October 4 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Saturday, October 5 from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

  • Sunday, October 6 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Inside the mobile range, guests aged 18 and older can handle and shoot handguns and long guns using the military-grade firearm simulator. The simulator provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback, creating an immersive experience that builds confidence. Additionally, archery instructors will be on hand to provide live archery demonstrations and hands-on instruction, allowing attendees to experience the sport firsthand.

Safe LivinG offers attendees a unique opportunity to engage in various activities centered around personal security and firearm safety.

Guests will have the opportunity to review firearms from top manufacturers and learn about the importance of responsible firearm handling. The organization also aims to raise awareness about self-defense tools, such as SABRE pepper spray, through interactive demonstrations.
