Shoot Like A Girl® Announces 2022 Sea To Shining Sea Tour  

ATHENS, Ala. – December 15, 2021 – Shoot Like A Girl® is proud to announce that the Sea To Shining Sea Tour will hit the road in early 2022 bringing its mobile range to locations across the country. Dedicated to educating women and their families about the importance of firearms safety, the semi-tractor trailer will allow attendees to gain experience in handling and shooting handguns, long guns, and compound bows using their state-of-the-art technology.

What To Expect

At any Shoot Like A Girl® event, guests who are 16 years of age or older will be able to handle and shoot a handgun and long gun with guidance from certified female instructors, using a state-of-the-art, military-grade firearm simulator which provides realistic recoil, impact, and sound feedback. Archery coaches will also be onsite to assist guests with shooting bows. Outside the range, at the Shoot Like A Girl gun counter, visitors of all ages are welcome to compare a variety of disabled firearms, including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns and rifles. Additional products from corporate partners will be on display, including optics, conceal carry bags, holsters, TrueTimber camouflage gear, SABRE pepper spray products and much more. Shoot Like A Girl® Releases Third Quarter Report for 2021

ATHENS, Ala. – November 4, 2021 – Shoot Like A Girl has released its third quarter report for 2021, citing impressive numbers, growth and insights that drive initiatives into the final quarter of the year. With its aggressive travel schedule, Shoot Like A Girl facilitated five events and hosted nearly 1,000 women plus their friends and families at the mobile range. The team traveled to Utah, Missouri and Colorado introducing women and their families to shooting sports, allowing the Shoot Like A Girl team to empower more guests in more cities. Being able to deliver our message of safety and to encourage confidence that comes with shooting sports is a driving force behind all the hours and miles that are put into our work.” 

Reaching More Women in 2021

In the third quarter, 977 women participated in Shoot Like A Girls’ experience and were introduced to pistol, rifle and bow skills during the Home of the Brave Tour. With stops at Cabela’s and Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, MO; Independence, MO; Colorado Springs, CO; and Farmington, UT and a stop at the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Mountain Festival in Park City, UT, the mobile range traveled 4,581 miles in just a few months. 

In addition to normal operations, a partnership hunt with Hunt Like A Girl and Bass Pro Shops/Cabela’s was held in Seneca South Dakota. These hunts are created to break down barriers between women who wish to hunt, provide encouragement and empowerment, and allow women to gain experience and confidence during their adventure.

Third Quarter Highlights

Shoot Like A Girl reached out to guests from the third quarter, and the numbers speak for the positive impact of the event. Of the guests polled, 9% had purchased one or more firearms in the three weeks post their experience with Shoot Like A Girl and 18% committed to purchasing a firearm in the next six months, and 34% committed to purchasing a firearm. Pistol sales are the most popular among Shoot Like A Girl guests, with 74% polled committing to a pistol sale. During the Shoot Like A Girl Trailer events, it was found that while 48% of guests already had a positive attitude toward firearms, another 48% now have an approved attitude or opinion on firearms after their experience with Shoot Like A Girl. 29% of guests recruited others to try shooting sports since visiting Shoot Like A Girl.

Shoot Like A Girl® Hosts Free Shooting Sports Event at Bass Pro Shops® in Concord, North Carolina

ATHENS, Ala. – November 3, 2021 - Shoot Like A Girl wraps up the Home of the Brave Tour by heading to Bass Pro Shops in in Concord, North Carolina this weekend for a free interactive event that introduces women to the shooting sports in a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere. Both new and experienced shooters are invited to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl trailer in front of Bass Pro Shops on Saturday, November 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the experience and learn about safety and the many benefits of shooting sports from certified female instructors and coaches who are eager to share their passion for the shooting sports.

What to Expect 

Both new and experienced shooters are invited to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl trailer in front of Bass Pro Shops to learn about safe and responsible gun ownership and the many benefits of firearms from certified female instructors who are eager to share their passion for the shooting sports. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their families and children to discuss and learn more about firearm safety. No experience is necessary to participate in this free event, and all equipment is provided to guests upon arrival.

Updated Safety Measures

Shoot Like A Girl adheres to COVID-19 protocols in accordance with the CDC guidelines. The CDC states, “If you are not fully vaccinated and aged 2 or older, you should wear a mask in indoor public spaces. In general, you do not need to wear a mask in outdoor settings.” CDC signs will be posted, and surfaces will be cleaned regularly. Hand sanitizer will still be available (provided by Leadslingers Whiskey) for use throughout the event.
