Shoot Like A Girl® Invites Media to Free Archery and Firearms Experience at Cabela’s® in Lehi, Utah

The Shoot Like A Girl® Sea to Shining Sea Tour is headed to Cabela’s in Lehi, Utah on its 2022 tour. This free, interactive event introduces women and their families and friends to shooting sports in a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere. Shoot Like A Girl travels to cities across the country with their state-of-the-art mobile range, certified female instructors and quality gear to empower women to participate in shooting sports and the great outdoors with confidence. As gun sales have been at all-time highs over the past few years, the need for gun owners to gain education for themselves and their families on firearm safety is a top concern. Shoot Like A Girl presents these valuable safety lessons and messages directly to the public. Media coverage is both welcomed and encouraged, and Shoot Like A Girl will accommodate live segments.

What to Expect

Shooters of all experience levels are invited to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl trailer in front of Cabela’s to learn about safe and responsible gun ownership and the many benefits of firearms from certified female instructors who are eager to share their passion for shooting sports, the outdoors and firearm education. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their families and young children to discuss and hear more about firearm safety and responsible ownership. No experience is necessary to participate in this free event, and all equipment is provided to guests upon arrival.

Inside the range, attendees who are 16 years of age or older will be able to handle and shoot handguns and long guns with guidance from instructors, using a military-grade firearm simulator which provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback. Archery coaches will also be onsite to assist guests with shooting bows. 

Outside the range, at the Shoot Like A Girl gun bar, visitors of all ages are welcome to compare a variety of disabled firearms, including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns and rifles. Additional products from corporate partners will be on display, including optics, conceal carry bags, holsters, TrueTimber camouflage, SABRE pepper spray products and much more. ATHENS, Ala. – July 20, 2022 – The Shoot Like A Girl® Sea to Shining Sea Tour is heading to Park City, Utah this week to bring its state-of-the-art mobile range to new and novice female shooters during the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) Mountain Festival July 21-24. Both new and seasoned shooters are invited to join Shoot Like A Girl at the state-of-the-art mobile shooting range for this free, interactive event. Certified female instructors will be on-site to share their extensive knowledge of firearms, shooting sports and safety with guests. As gun sales have been at all-time highs over the past few years, the need for gun owners to gain education for themselves and their families on firearm safety is a top concern. The general public is invited to visit Shoot Like A Girl at the RMEF Mountain Festival July 21-24 at Canyons Village in Park City, Utah. Guests who are interested in learning more about Shoot Like A Girl, Hunt Like A Girl and ways to get involved in the shooting sports are invited to attend this free presentation. Other RMEF Mountain Festival events will include 2022 World Elk Calling Championships, live music, seminars from outdoor industry pros, live podcasts, vendor booths and interactive experiences. What to Expect

New and experienced shooters are encouraged to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl mobile range event to learn more about ways to get involved in the shooting sports. Inside the mobile range, using a military-grade firearm simulator which provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback, guests who are 16 years of age or older will gain confidence through handling and shooting handguns and long guns through this immersive event. Guests will also be supported by archery coaches through a live archery demonstration, allowing attendees to experience archery firsthand and learn more about the sport through hands-on instruction. 

Shoot Like A Girl strives to empower women through shooting sports demonstrations and events while opening a discussion surrounding sports and outdoors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their families and children to discuss and learn more about firearm safety in a comfortable and controlled environment.
