Shoot Like A Girl® Invites Media to Free Archery and Firearms Experience at Bass Pro Shops® in Morgantown, West Virginia

The Shoot Like A Girl® Sea to Shining Sea Tour is headed to Bass Pro Shops in Morgantown, West Virginia on its 2022 tour. This free, interactive event introduces women and their families and friends to shooting sports in a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere. Shoot Like A Girl travels to cities across the country with their state-of-the-art mobile range, certified female instructors and quality gear to empower women to participate in shooting sports and the great outdoors with confidence. As gun sales have been at all-time highs over the past few years, the need for gun owners to gain education for themselves and their families on firearm safety is a top concern. Shoot Like A Girl presents these valuable safety lessons and messages directly to the public. Media coverage is both welcomed and encouraged, and Shoot Like A Girl will accommodate live segments.

What to Expect

Shooters of all experience levels are invited to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl trailer in front of Bass Pro Shops to learn about safe and responsible gun ownership and the many benefits of firearms from certified female instructors who are eager to share their passion for shooting sports, the outdoors and firearm education. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their families and young children to discuss and hear more about firearm safety and responsible ownership. No experience is necessary to participate in this free event, and all equipment is provided to guests upon arrival.

 

Inside the range, attendees who are 16 years of age or older will be able to handle and shoot handguns and long guns with guidance from instructors, using a military-grade firearm simulator which provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback. Archery coaches will also be onsite to assist guests with shooting bows. 

 

Outside the range, at the Shoot Like A Girl gun bar, visitors of all ages are welcome to compare a variety of disabled firearms, including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns and rifles. Additional products from corporate partners will be on display, including optics, conceal carry bags, holsters, TrueTimber camouflage, SABRE pepper spray products and much more. Shoot Like A Girl® Combines the Mobile Range Experience with NASCAR Races in Tennessee

BRISTOL, TENN. – September 12, 2022 – Shoot Like A Girl is pleased to announce that its state-of-the-art mobile range will be traveling to Tennessee this month to introduce itself to new and novice female shooters during NASCAR’s Cup Series Playoffs at the Bristol Motor Speedway September 15-18. The weekend will be filled with excitement from the races and other offerings such as on-site dining and activities. Shoot Like A Girl will be one of the many events of the weekend. 

 

“The Bristol Motor Speedway is an exciting new space for us to bring the Shoot Like A Girl trailer,” said Founder and President of Shoot Like A Girl, Karen Butler. “This provides an opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of our indoor firearm simulator as well as showcase the Shoot Like A Girl mission and message to those who inquire. We are always trying to reach wider audiences and this will be one more way that we demonstrate our ability to empowering women and their families with the industry.”

 

Event Details

Guests are invited to purchase tickets to a weekend of events at the Bristol Motor Speedway in September. The weekend kicks off September 16 with the Food City 300. The Bristol Motor Speedway offers a wide array of seating and dining options. The next night, guests have the opportunity to attend NASCAR’s most popular race, the Bass Pro Shops Night Race. This is the final race in the NASCAR playoffs with various packages for seating and dining available.

 

Shoot Like A Girl will be found trackside with their trailer inside the Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Experience for the race’s duration, beginning Thursday, September 15 until Saturday, September 17. The Shoot Like A Girl trailer will be open to the public from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. each day. This event will be free to all, including those who do not have a ticket for the race.

 

The Shoot Like A Girl Experience

Shoot Like A Girl® Announces New Partnership with Project ChildSafe®

ATHENS, Ala. – September 9, 2022 – Shoot Like A Girl® is excited to announce its new partnership with the NSSF’s Project ChildSafe for the Sea to Shining Sea Tour and the 2022 Season. Project ChildSafe was developed by the National Shooting Sports Foundation in 1999 and has since become the largest, most comprehensive firearms safety education program in the United States. Project ChildSafe partners with law enforcement agencies and other groups in local communities to distribute firearm safety kits and raise awareness on the proper processes to own, use and store firearms.
