Shoot Like A Girl® Invites Media to Free Archery and Firearms Experience at Bass Pro Shops® in Round Rock, Texas

The Shoot Like A Girl® Sea to Shining Sea Tour is headed to Bass Pro Shops in Round Rock, Texas on its 2022 tour. This free, interactive event introduces women and their families and friends to shooting sports in a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere. Shoot Like A Girl travels to cities across the country with their state-of-the-art mobile range, certified female instructors and quality gear to empower women to participate in shooting sports and the great outdoors with confidence. As gun sales have been at all-time highs over the past few years, the need for gun owners to gain education for themselves and their families on firearm safety is a top concern. Shoot Like A Girl presents these valuable safety lessons and messages directly to the public. Media coverage is both welcomed and encouraged, and Shoot Like A Girl will accommodate live segments.

What to Expect

Shooters of all experience levels are invited to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl trailer in front of Bass Pro Shops to learn about safe and responsible gun ownership and the many benefits of firearms from certified female instructors who are eager to share their passion for shooting sports, the outdoors and firearm education. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their families and young children to discuss and hear more about firearm safety and responsible ownership. No experience is necessary to participate in this free event, and all equipment is provided to guests upon arrival.

 

Inside the range, attendees who are 16 years of age or older will be able to handle and shoot handguns and long guns with guidance from instructors, using a military-grade firearm simulator which provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback. Archery coaches will also be onsite to assist guests with shooting bows. 

 

Outside the range, at the Shoot Like A Girl gun bar, visitors of all ages are welcome to compare a variety of disabled firearms, including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns and rifles. Additional products from corporate partners will be on display, including optics, conceal carry bags, holsters, TrueTimber camouflage, SABRE pepper spray products and much more. ATHENS, Ala. – September 28, 2022 – Shoot Like A Girl is bringing the 2022 Sea to Shining Sea Tour to Bass Pro Shops in Morgantown, West Virginia this weekend for an interactive event that introduces women and their families to shooting sports in a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere. Experience the state-of-the-art mobile gun range and join their certified female instructors as they share their extensive knowledge of firearms, archery, outdoor accessories and safety with guests while promoting confidence within shooting sports. New and experienced shooters and their families are invited to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl trailer in front of Bass Pro Shops on October 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and October 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

 

Shoot Like A Girl’s unique events connect brands, products and the public. Attendees are never charged and are given one-one-one attention from passionate experts in the shooting sports field.

 

What to Expect

New and experienced shooters are encouraged to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl mobile range event to learn more about ways to get involved in the shooting sports. Inside the mobile range, using a military-grade firearm simulator which provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback, guests who are 16 years of age or older will gain confidence through handling and shooting handguns and long guns through this immersive event. Guests will also be supported by archery coaches through a live archery demonstration, allowing attendees to experience archery firsthand and learn more about the sport through hands-on instruction.

 

Shoot Like A Girl strives to empower women through shooting sports demonstrations and events while opening a discussion surrounding sports and outdoors. Shoot Like A Girl® Announces Hunt Like A Girl® Contest in Partnership with Beretta USA

ATHENS, Ala. –September 19, 2022 – Shoot Like A Girl has partnered with Beretta USA to launch the Hunt Like A Girl Contest to give one lucky winner the opportunity to participate in a guided waterfowl hunt at Rocky Creek Retrievers in Brenham, Texas on November 7-10, 2022. This contest will provide one entrant, who is new to hunting or who has never hunted before, the chance to experience waterfowl hunting for the first time with an all-female team from Shoot Like A Girl, Beretta and other women from the outdoor industry. The winner will also receive a comprehensive waterfowl hunting gear package with transportation, meals, lodging and guide fees and tips provided. This experience is the 2nd annual waterfowl hunt in partnership with Beretta.

Contest Details

To enter for a chance to win the hunting experience of a lifetime, entrants must complete the online requirements in their entirety. To be included in the contest, all submissions must be received by Shoot Like A Girl and Beretta by 11:59 p.m. on October 6, 2022. Entries with video submissions will be considered first. 

 

While everyone is encouraged to enter and all entries will be considered, Shoot Like A Girl and Beretta are explicitly looking for an individual who is new to hunting or has never hunted before. The contest begins Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. EST and ends Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. EST. A winner will be selected following the conclusion of the entry window.
