Shoot Like A Girl Hosts Free Shooting Sports Experience at Bass Pro Shops in Clarksville, IN for 15-Year Expansion Tour

ATHENS, Ala. – May 18, 2023 – Shoot Like A Girl®, a brand of SLG2, Inc, is bringing their 2023 15-Year Expansion tour to Bass Pro Shops® in Clarksville, Ind. this weekend for an interactive event that introduces women and their families to shooting sports in a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere. New and experienced shooters and their families are invited to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl trailer in front of Bass Pro Shops on Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 3p.m.

Shoot Like A Girl saw 381 signed in guests along with their families and friends at its recent stop at the grand opening of the new Bass Pro Shops in Sunset Hills, MO.

“The crowds were amazing. There are many stories, but one of my favorites was a recent cancer survivor who stopped by the trailer,” said Christa Forrester, SLG2, Inc vice president. “She was terrified having never been around firearms. By the time she arrived at her third shot, she was in a groove and walking tall and proud.”

What to Expect

Both new and experienced shooters are encouraged to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl mobile range event to learn more about ways to get involved in shooting sports. Inside the mobile range, using a military-grade firearm simulator which provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback, guests who are 18 years of age or older will gain confidence through handling and shooting handguns and long guns through this immersive event. Guests will also be supported by archery coaches through a live archery demonstration, allowing attendees to experience archery firsthand and learn more about the sport through hands-on instruction.

Shoot Like A Girl strives to empower women through shooting sports demonstrations and events while opening a discussion surrounding sports and outdoors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their families and children to discuss and learn more about firearm safety in a comfortable and controlled environment. No experience is necessary to participate in this free event, and all equipment is provided to guests upon their arrival.

At the Shoot Like A Girl gun counter outside of the mobile range, visitors of all ages are welcome to compare a variety of disassembled firearms, including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns and rifles. Additional products form corporate partners will be on display, including optics, conceal carry bags, holsters, TrueTimber camouflage, SABRE pepper spray products and much more. Safe LivinG™ Hosts Free Safety Introduction at Bass Pro Shops® and Cabela’s® in Kansas City, KS

Safe LivinG hosted a successful OKC, OK trailer stop in March, bringing in guests with a variety of background and experience. One of SLG2, Inc’s contracted instructors worked with a retired law enforcement officer in search of a smaller firearm and holster that he could conceal. After years of service, carrying on his hip a became his comfort zone. Through the Safe LivinG experience, not only did he choose a holster, but he also chose a gun.

 

Individuals and families of all ages are invited to stop by the Safe LivinG trailer on Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Kansas City, KS, to expand upon their safety skills and experience.

From situational awareness to first-aid tips and tricks, this expansion provides communities with authentic and factual knowledge to keep themselves and those around them safe. With an emphasis on firearm safety, both new and experienced shooters are encouraged to join in on discussions and demonstrations surrounding all safety categories. Utilizing a 36’ trailer, this experience serves as an introduction to safety surrounding your personal security with an emphasis on firearm safety. Safe LivinG strives to foster confidence to live securely through shooting a pistol and rifle utilizing a military grade firearms simulator. Attendees will discuss safety while reviewing firearms from the top manufacturers, learn about SABRE pepper spray with an interactive demonstration, discuss wellness benefits of enjoying the outdoors while partaking in binocular, turkey call and other outdoor demonstrations. Families are encouraged to bring their children to participate in a firearm safety discussion, and attendees 18 years or older can participate in handling firearms.
