ATHENS, Ala. – November 13, 2023 – SLG2, Inc. has officially released its impressive 2023 3rd Quarter Report, highlighting its commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to guests, showcasing top-notch products from manufacturer partners, and collaborating with Bass Pro Shops and a variety of leading partners has resulted in another quarter of remarkable achievements.

As SLG2, Inc approaches the end of its milestone 15th year in business, the company is grateful for the trust its industry partners have placed in them to market their products. The number of people participating in shooting sports with confidence continues to grow, and SLG2, Inc is proud to be a part of that.

“In the third quarter of 2023, we welcomed over 1,500 signed-in guests at nine extraordinary events. One of the highlights of the quarter was the presentation of the Excellence in Safety Award. This prestigious award recognizes companies that go above and beyond in ensuring the safety of their products and promoting overall safety. GSM Outdoors was honored with the 3rd Quarter Award for their unwavering commitment to safety equipment.

SLG2, Inc also collaborated with Vortex Optics to host a Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's Club Experience in Barneveld, WI, exclusively for eight club members. This unique event allowed participants to explore the world of shooting sports with the support of industry-leading experts.

The SLG2, Inc mobile ranges have been hitting the road, traveling through 21 states and covering an impressive distance of 8,345 miles. It was found that 35% of guests shot firearms frequently before their experience, while 44% had never shot archery before. The report also revealed guests' intentions to purchase firearms and bows, with 66% committed to firearms purchases.

The Q3 report also revealed statistics about SLG2, Inc's guests. Notably, there was a continued increase in guests over 50 years old, with 53% of guests falling into the highest brackets of disposable income. The report also highlighted the diverse ethnicity and gender representation among guests, showcasing the inclusive nature of shooting sports.

The report showcased the impact of SLG2, Inc's experiences on guests' attitudes towards firearms and archery. A significant 28% of guests reported an improved attitude/opinion of firearms, while 68% already had a positive attitude towards firearms prior to their experience with SLG2, Inc. Additionally, 28% of guests recruited other people to try shooting sports, further expanding the reach and impact of SLG2, Inc's initiatives.

“It was a great experience and the ladies were awesome. I have my conceal carry already and own a handgun. My friend did not,” said Shoot Like A Girl guest. “We did it twice and she is now going to buy a pistol and complete her conceal carry course!”

Shoot Like A Girl Hosts Free Shooting Sports Experience at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s in Glendale, AZ for 15-Year Expansion Tour

ATHENS, Ala. – November 1, 2023 – Shoot Like A Girl®, a brand of SLG2, Inc, is bringing their 2023 15-Year Expansion tour to Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s in Glendale, AZ this weekend for an interactive event that introduces women and their families to shooting sports in a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere. New and experienced shooters and their families are invited to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl trailer in front of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s on Saturday, November 4 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Shoot Like A Girl team was onsite at Bass Pro Shops in Chattanooga, TN October 14 and 15, 2023 with 179 signed in guests. Shoot Like A Girl was also honored to be part of the historic Grand Opening for Smith & Wesson in Maryville, TN. Although the trailer was not present, the team had the pleasure of meeting many of the 500 guests in attendance. The event was a testament to the impact Shoot Like A Girl has on empowering women and providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the shooting sports.

What to Expect

Both new and experienced shooters are encouraged to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl mobile range event to learn more about ways to get involved in shooting sports. Inside the mobile range, using a military-grade firearm simulator which provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback, guests who are 18 years of age or older will gain confidence through handling and shooting a handgun and long gun at this immersive event. Guests will also be supported by archery coaches through a live archery demonstration, allowing attendees to experience archery firsthand and learn more about the sport through hands-on instruction.

Shoot Like A Girl strives to empower women through shooting sports demonstrations and events while opening a discussion surrounding sports and outdoors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their families and children to discuss and learn more about firearm safety in a comfortable and controlled environment. No experience is necessary to participate in this free event, and all equipment is provided to guests upon their arrival.

At the Shoot Like A Girl gun counter outside of the mobile range, visitors are welcome to compare a variety of disassembled firearms, including revolvers, semi-automatic pistols, shotguns and rifles. Shoot Like A Girl Hosts Free Shooting Sports Experience at Bass Pro Shops in Chattanooga, TN for 15-Year Expansion Tour

ATHENS, Ala. – October 11, 2023 – Shoot Like A Girl®, a brand of SLG2, Inc, is bringing their 2023 15-Year Expansion tour to Bass Pro Shops® in Chattanooga, TN this weekend for an interactive event that introduces women and their families to shooting sports in a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere. New and experienced shooters and their families are invited to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl trailer in front of Bass Pro Shops on Saturday, October 14 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SLG2, Inc and Vortex recently hosted an all-women’s Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Club Live Fire experience at the Vortex facility. The success was off the charts for the guests, the Vortex team and the SLG2, Inc team. They coached and guided 8 women on their individual journey into bringing a handgun into their life.

The Shoot Like A Girl Trailer also travelled to Kodak, TN with 151 signed in guests. Two families that had recently attended past trailer stops made the drive to see the Shoot Like A Girl team again, both wanting more time on the gun bar and information from instructors and more training.
