WESTFIELD, Massachusetts – May 23, 2023 – The Savage Arms licensing program, in partnership with the Group 3 Holdings licensing group, remains on track to be available in the 4th quarter of 2023. The new line is comprised of hunting apparel, camping equipment and lifestyle apparel. The licensing team is now taking meetings with key retailers/customers and the full assortment will be in stores in the spring of 2024.

Several new lines/items including basecamp products, technical hunting apparel, sportswear, non-technical apparel, functional bags and storage products were on display at the 2023 Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show. Interest has been high and the first items will be for sale online in the fall of 2023.

SLG2, Inc Boasts Impressive 2023 Quarterly Report

ATHENS, Ala. – May 22, 2023 – SLG2, Inc has officially released its impressive 2023 first quarter report, showing they continue to make lifelong impacts on the shooting industry with new brand extensions, the 15-year expansion tour, and much more. The brand continues to open the door for women, men and families to build confidence, expand on their shooting abilities and live safely.

With over 1,000 guests in the first quarter of 2023 alone, the Shoot Like A Girl and Safe LivinG trailers produced memories that will last a lifetime and lessons that will continue on for generations.”

The mobile ranges traveled 11,163 miles, using 1,972 gallons of fuel. This quarter, the guests represented a younger demographic. 60% of the guests were under 50 years old, with 2% of guests preferring not to report their age.

Report results showcased the exponential growth and immense need for confidence with shooting sports and personal, community and family safety. Prior to participation in the tour, 67% of attendees had positive attitudes toward firearms while 37% expressed improved attitudes after connecting with SLG2, Inc instructors. Home defense took the lead for the intended purpose of owning or training with a firearm, with recreational, on and off-body carry and hunting following close behind. Of the 62% of guests who plan to buy guns, 70% of guests committed to pistol sales, 24% to rifle and 14% to shotgun. After archery shooting during the 15-year expansion tour, 26% of the attendees planned to buy one or more bows.

Shoot Like A Girl Hosts Free Shooting Sports Experience at Bass Pro Shops in Clarksville, IN for 15-Year Expansion Tour

ATHENS, Ala. – May 18, 2023 – Shoot Like A Girl®, a brand of SLG2, Inc, is bringing their 2023 15-Year Expansion tour to Bass Pro Shops® in Clarksville, Ind. this weekend for an interactive event that introduces women and their families to shooting sports in a fun, safe and comfortable atmosphere. New and experienced shooters and their families are invited to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl trailer in front of Bass Pro Shops on Saturday, May 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 21 from 10 a.m. to 3p.m.

Shoot Like A Girl saw 381 signed in guests along with their families and friends at its recent stop at the grand opening of the new Bass Pro Shops in Sunset Hills, MO.

“The crowds were amazing. There are many stories, but one of my favorites was a recent cancer survivor who stopped by the trailer,” said Christa Forrester, SLG2, Inc vice president. “She was terrified having never been around firearms. By the time she arrived at her third shot, she was in a groove and walking tall and proud.”

What to Expect

Both new and experienced shooters are encouraged to stop by the Shoot Like A Girl mobile range event to learn more about ways to get involved in shooting sports. Inside the mobile range, using a military-grade firearm simulator which provides immediate recoil, impact and sound feedback, guests who are 18 years of age or older will gain confidence through handling and shooting handguns and long guns through this immersive event. Guests will also be supported by archery coaches through a live archery demonstration, allowing attendees to experience archery firsthand and learn more about the sport through hands-on instruction.

Shoot Like A Girl strives to empower women through shooting sports demonstrations and events while opening a discussion surrounding sports and outdoors. Attendees are encouraged to bring their families and children to discuss and learn more about firearm safety in a comfortable and controlled environment. No experience is necessary to participate in this free event, and all equipment is provided to guests upon their arrival.
