CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES
A targeted PR outreach campaign focused on key voices across hunting, outdoor, and gear review media. The team hosted virtual media briefings with Moultrie experts, distributed press releases, and proactively pitched editors and writers to secure product features, gear roundups, and launch coverage in leading outdoor publications.
Murray Road partnered closely with Moultrie to execute a pre-launch media strategy anchored by online summits. These sessions gave media direct access to Moultrie representatives, offering in-depth overviews of the new product line followed by interactive Q&A discussions. Together, the teams also identified 50 priority media contacts to receive a custom care package, which included a Moultrie EDGE 3 cellular trail camera, deer skin gloves, a handwritten note, and additional branded items.
To support launch momentum, a formal press release and branded assets were distributed to top outlets across the outdoor, hunting, and shooting categories. Tailored, one-on-one outreach aligned story angles with each publication’s editorial focus and timing, helping secure timely coverage and ensuring a strong, multi-platform presence on launch day.
The Results
The EDGE 3 was covered in 63 articles has seen nearly 21.5 million impressions and nearly $4 million in ad equivalency since its launch in July of 2025.

The Moultrie EDGE 3 launch made an immediate splash in the heat of July. It remained one of the top trail cameras recommended by editorial outlets throughout the prime of big game season.
