Sportsman's Warehouse Hosts Donna Anthony’s Conceal Carry Purse Class in Vancouver, WA Featuring Gun Tote’n Mamas

Titled "Purse - Bag - Sling: How to Use Your Conceal Carry," this FREE course will provide invaluable opportunity to train with Anthony for 3 hours on how to properly handle, draw and holster a gun from a concealed carry purse. “If you’re going to carry in a purse, you need to know two things: how to safely draw it without muzzling yourself, and since it will take a little bit of time to make the draw, you need to have situational awareness,” said Anthony. “It also depends on the style and quality of the purse you have, because you can have a three-step or a five-step draw. Donna Anthony is currently the Chief of Police for a department in Alaska and has over 20 years of law enforcement experience. During her time as an officer, she was a Field Training Officer (FTO) and an investigator assigned to the Alaska State Trooper Statewide Drug Task Force Unit. She served as a case officer in several State and Federal cases. She has also worked throughout Alaska with many law enforcement agencies including the U.S. Marshals, DEA, ATF and FBI. Anthony is an expert witness, member of ILEETA and a guest speaker for the past 6 years at the USCCA Expo Conference. Anthony is also a recipient of the life-saving Award for Valor.
