Creative Specialist
The Murray Road Agency is seeking a Creative Specialist with a passion for design, storytelling and bringing ideas to life across all mediums. This role goes beyond traditional graphic design – you’ll help concept, craft and execute work that supports a wide range of creative needs in today’s fast moving marketing landscape.
The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio that shows versatility, attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality work on time. You thrive in fast-paced environments, collaborate easily with teammates and clients and are eager to contribute to projects that span digital, social, print, in-store, packaging, events and more. The Creative Specialist will report to the Marketing and Creative Services Manager and will work collaboratively with the entire Murray Road team—as well as clients—on a regular basis.
This position is based in our Charleston, South Carolina office. A personal passion for (or interest in) the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping or shooting industry is a plus.
Responsibilities:
•Design static and dynamic graphics for social media, digital advertising, websites and more.
•Create in-store signage, promotional displays and sales support materials.
•Collaborate on campaign concepts and contribute creative ideas across channels.
•Maintain and apply brand standards – or assist in developing brand identities and style guides.
•Prepare print and digital files to meet production specifications and quality standards.
•Design large-format graphics for retail, trade shows and consumer events.
•Conceptualize and create packaging designs that balance functionality and visual appeal.
•Manage multiple projects simultaneously and track deliverables using internal systems.
•Organize, label and maintain files with consistent process discipline.
•Stay current on industry and design trends, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
•Provide creative and technical support to marketing, sales, social media and product teams.
•Support time-sensitive requests for documents and files that meet specific format requirements.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications or related field or equivalent professional experience.
•1-3 years of relevant experience.
•Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
•Experience with animation, motion graphics, texts and other elements as well as video projects (including Adobe Premier Pro and/or After Effects) is a bonus.
•Proficient in Microsoft Business Suite, primarily PowerPoint.
•Knowledge of file types, web and print requirements, file output and general production requirements.
•Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
•Works well independently and as a member of a team.
•Comfortable working from an existing design or from scratch.
•Adaptable to changing client needs and receptive to constructive criticism.
•Experience with project management platforms (Monday.com, Asana, Trello, etc.) preferred.

Communications Specialist
The Murray Road Agency is looking for a communicator with experience in public relations,
communication and/or marketing. Day-to-day interaction with clients and media will be a pillar of this position. Knowledge of the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping, shooting and boating is a plus—but is not required.
This new hire should be able to write with intent in regards to messaging, branding and audience and
have a demonstrated ability to do so in a variety of subject areas/markets. This position will be located
in Anoka, Minnesota (In-Office).
Responsibilities:
• Writing, editing and managing content
• Reporting, monitoring and metrics
• Client interaction and communication
• Event coordination and execution
• Distribution and coordination of multiple campaigns
• Communicate with media regularly
• Manage media inquiries
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications, business, sales or
related field
• 0-3 years professional experience
• A high level of attention to detail
• Skilled writer and editor
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Comfortable on and off camera and in front of clients
• Ability to track metrics, follow up and execute
