Sierra Bullets Celebrates Sponsored Shooters’ Recent Performances

SEDALIA, Mo. July 18, 2025 Sierra Bullets congratulates sponsored shooters Jason Chancy, Leon Weatherby and Levi Wilson on their performances in various competitions this past weekend. With each competition presenting its unique set of obstacles, all three athletes showcased remarkable skill and precision, exemplifying Sierra Bullets’ commitment to delivering unmatched accuracy and consistency in the most challenging environments.

Jason Chancy claimed an outstanding first-place finish in the Heavy Gun Division at the 2025 Williamsport World Open in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, competing among 68 shooters. The match featured two classes, Light and Heavy Gun, with scoring categorized by Group Aggregate, Score Aggregate and Two Gun Overall. Chancy competed using Sierra Bullets’ 6.5mm 142 Gr HPBT/CN MatchKing, delivering a standout performance that showcased top-tier precision and control in the Heavy Gun Division.

Leon Weatherby achieved the top Tactical finish at the 2025 Apex Rocky Mountain Challenge, a two-day Pro Series Qualifier Match set in the foothills of the Calgary range of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Weatherby demonstrated incredible talent, skillfully navigating the windy conditions throughout the challenge. Competing with Sierra Bullets’ 30 Cal 169 Gr HPBT/CN MatchKing, Weatherby utilized the bullet’s superior ballistic consistency to claim the top Tactical spot.

Levi Wilson secured a fifth-place finish at the 2025 Twisted Barrel Precision Scorcher III by Leupold Optics in Little Rock, Arkansas. This two-day PRS Pro Series competition featured a match design that balanced a mix of positional and prone/moderate prone stage positions with demanding sizes and sequences. The match consisted of 20 stages with up to 200 rounds in the course of fire. Out of a competitive group of 133 shooters, Wilson’s top five finish highlights his ability to consistently perform throughout a wide range of challenging stages.
