SEDALIA, Mo. – September 5, 2025 – Sierra Bullets celebrates sponsored shooter Corson Piper as he continues to have a strong season, steadily rising in the Precision Rifle Series (PRS) national rankings. Most recently on August 29-30, Piper secured a second-place spot in the 2025 MDT MidSummer Madness PRS Match in Lower Nicola, British Columbia. Having just jumped from 10th to fifth place, this latest performance now moves Piper into fourth place nationally.
The MDT MidSummer Madness marked a milestone in the sport as the first ever two-day PRS match held in British Columbia, Canada. Set against mountainous terrain, the match challenged even the most skilled shooters with its demanding course. Competitors faced a difficult combination of natural terrain and man-made props designed to test shooters’ precision and skill. Stages ranged from 200 to more than 1,200 yards and incorporated various angles and arcs of fire. These stages were intentionally set up to push the limits of shooters’ abilities, requiring them to quickly and accurately engage multiple targets from different positions.
“Corson’s rise through the national rankings this season has been truly impressive. He’s a great example of the discipline and talent it takes to compete at this level,” said Sierra Bullets’ Marketing and Product Manager Colby Adamek. “Sierra Bullets is proud to support athletes like Corson who demonstrate excellence and dedication in precision rifle shooting.”
Coming off of a great performance at the 2025 Impact-Foundation PRC Match, Piper continued to demonstrate incredible marksmanship and skill this past weekend. Once again competing with Sierra Bullet’s 6mm 110 Gr HPBT/CN MatchKing, his latest performance highlights the bullet’s renowned precision and reliability in competition. Piper’s impressive season reflects Sierra Bullets’ mission to deliver unmatched accuracy and consistency, even in the most challenging precision shooting competitions.
“The 110 MatchKings have been a game-changer for me this season. Their consistency and flat-shooting design gave me the confidence to stay aggressive on tough stages, even under pressure,” said Sierra-sponsored shooter Corson Piper. “Being able to trust my ammo completely has been a huge factor in putting me on the podium in back-to-back weekends. When you know every round is going to track and hold exactly where it should, you can focus on executing and that’s exactly what helped me string together these results.”
