One year later, the integration continues to strengthen legal defense resources for responsible firearm owners.
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – July 15, 2026 – CCW Safe, a national leader in Self Defense Legal Services, is celebrating one year since welcoming members of the Armed Citizens’ Legal Defense Network Inc. (ACLDN) into the CCW Safe family. Since the July 2025 acquisition, thousands of former ACLDN members have joined CCW Safe’s nationwide community, expanding access to comprehensive legal protection, education and support for responsible firearm owners.
Founded in 2008 by Marty and Gila Hayes, the Armed Citizens’ Legal Defense Network earned a respected reputation for advocating on behalf of responsibly armed citizens. Marty Hayes, a former law enforcement officer, firearms instructor and author on self-defense law, helped establish ACLDN as a trusted resource for firearm owners seeking education and legal support. Today, that legacy continues as part of CCW Safe’s commitment to delivering industry-leading legal defense services and member care.
“One year later, we’re proud of how seamlessly ACLDN members became part of the CCW Safe family,” said Kent Brown, president of CCW Safe. “This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to providing the strongest legal protection, experienced representation and personal support our members deserve when they need it most.”
“From the beginning, both organizations have shared the same mission: standing beside responsible firearm owners during one of the most difficult moments of their lives,” said Mike Darter, CEO of CCW Safe. “Over the past year, we’ve honored that mission by ensuring ACLDN members continue to receive the trusted support they expected while expanding the resources and benefits available to them through CCW Safe.”
Today, former ACLDN members have full access to CCW Safe’s comprehensive suite of benefits, including 24/7 access to a Critical Response Team, unlimited criminal and civil defense coverage and legal representation from experienced self-defense attorneys. Members also benefit from ongoing education and training resources, as well as emotional, financial and practical support before, during and after a self-defense incident.
Over the past year, CCW Safe has remained committed to making the transition as seamless as possible while continuing to deliver the personalized service both organizations have long been known for. The successful integration has strengthened CCW Safe’s ability to serve responsible firearm owners nationwide while preserving the values and member-first philosophy that defined ACLDN.
